Cessna's Pilot Draws Massive Tribute to USA on 4th of July

A pilot in Ohio carried out an extraordinary patriotic flight on Friday morning, creating a giant drawing visible on flight-tracking websites. The carefully planned route formed the outline of the United States with the words "USA" and "250th" inside, honoring the nation's upcoming 250th anniversary.

The Cessna Skylane departed from Norwalk-Huron County Airport at around 6:00 a.m. local time and landed shortly after noon, completing nearly six hours in the air. The intricate design was flown in three stages: first spelling "USA," then adding "250th," and finally tracing the outline of the continental United States.
