GoPro Mission 1 Pro ILS Marks GoPro's First Interchangeable-Lens Camera
GoPro Mission 1 Pro ILS is GoPro's first interchangeable-lens camera, with ILS standing for Interchangeable Lens System. It is aimed at professional creators, independent filmmakers and demanding users. Its European MSRP is $699.99.
The camera features an MFT mount with a 3x crop factor. Focusing is manual only, with Focus Peaking and Focus Assist available. Because of the interchangeable-lens design, it is weather-resistant rather than fully waterproof. It uses a 1-inch 50-MP CMOS sensor with up to 14 stops of dynamic range and a GP3 processor.
Video capabilities include 8K at 60 fps, 4K at 240 fps, 4:3 Open Gate recording and an impressive 960 fps at 1080p. It also supports 10-bit GP-Log2 for professional color grading.
Audio is handled by four built-in microphones with 32-bit Float Audio, while Bluetooth 5.3 supports wireless microphones. HyperSmooth stabilization can be manually adjusted to the lens being used by entering its focal length.
The 2150-mAh Enduro 2 battery provides up to five hours of 1080p recording or around 1.5 hours in 8K. Fast charging can bring it to 80 percent in approximately 27 minutes.
