LAPD Cruiser Hits Civilian Car During Emergency

On May 26, 2025, two officers responded with sirens and flashing lights to a domestic violence call. On Saticoy Street in Los Angeles, a silver Honda Accord driver made a left turn and a police cruiser crashed into it at full speed. The driver, 91-year-old Jose Hernandez, died at the scene.
