Miner found alive after being trapped for two weeks in a Mexico mine
In the Mexican state of Sinaloa, rescuers found a miner alive after nearly two weeks of searching, trapped more than 300 meters underground in a flooded mine. The dramatic rescue drew widespread attention, as the 42-year-old survived in conditions many describe as nearly impossible.
In the footage, we see the moment rescuers finally reached Francisco Zapata Nájera and began pulling him out of the mine. One detail stands out in particular – in the darkness, they spotted the flickering of his headlamp, which revealed that he was still alive.
The video captured attention because of the mix of tension and relief. After more than 300 hours of searching and an additional 21 hours of rescue efforts, the story ended on a positive note – something far from guaranteed in accidents like this.
