14-Year-Old Girl Stuns Judges With Nessun Dorma and Wins the Golden Buzzer

A breathtaking audition from 14-year-old Noemi Realforte on Italia's Got Talent has gone viral on social media, leaving viewers around the world in awe.

The young singer stunned the judges with her powerful performance of the operatic masterpiece Nessun dorma. Her remarkably deep voice and extraordinary talent earned her a standing ovation and the Golden Buzzer.

Noemi first appeared on the Italia's Got Talent stage during the 13th season of the show in the autumn of 2023. She chose to perform the iconic aria Nessun dorma from the final act of Giacomo Puccini's opera Turandot.

A performance no one expected

Noemi walked onto the stage as a quiet, modest teenager dressed simply, giving little hint of the extraordinary performance that was about to follow.

She amazed both the judges and the audience with her rare contralto voice – an exceptionally deep vocal range that is highly uncommon for someone her age and typically develops much later in life.

She performed one of opera's greatest challenges

Nessun dorma is traditionally performed by a tenor and is widely regarded as one of the most demanding arias in opera. Noemi delivered her own interpretation with confidence and remarkable vocal control, bringing the audience to its feet.

Legendary Italian music producer Mara Maionchi was so impressed that she didn't wait for the other judges' comments – she immediately pressed the Golden Buzzer, sending Noemi straight through to the semifinals.

She came incredibly close to winning

The winner of the 13th season was Francesca Cesarini, a 16-year-old pole dancer born without arms and with one shortened leg, whose inspiring talent captivated Italy.

Noemi advanced all the way to the grand final, once again impressing audiences with her remarkable voice, but narrowly missed out on claiming the overall title.
