7th Grade Student Stops A School Bus After Driver Passes Out

These days, there was an incident in the American state of Michigan in which a school bus driver fell unconscious.

Even seventh-grader Dillon Reeves came to the rescue - he steered the bus and stopped the vehicle, then told the students on the bus to call 911.

The video from the bus was published online by the American school organization Warren Consolidated School, and it shows the moment the bus driver lost consciousness. Seventh-grader Dillon Reeves was one of the first to notice that something was wrong, who got behind the wheel and then brought the bus to a safe stop.

The student stopped in the last moments before the bus was about to veer into the opposite lane. With this, the student probably prevented a tragedy, as the bus was full of children.

The bus driver had already informed the control center that he was not feeling well and that he will try to stop the bus. As of Wednesday, he is being treated at a local hospital in Warren, Michigan, and is said to be in stable condition.
