Alligator Without Tail Gets New 3D Printed Prosthetic One

An aligator named Mr. Stubbs got a new 3D prosthetic tail that was printed specifically for him thanks to technology and good people.

The reptile lived for many years without a tail that he lost during an illegal transport by animal traffickers. He was destined to live on land, because he could not move without tail in the water.

Back in 2013, Mr. Stubbs was rescued and transported to the Phoenix Herpetological Society reserve, where good poeple directed their thoughts to provide a new prosthetic tail to the alligator.

With the help of a 3D printer, they also realized their ideas, but at the time, due to a fairly recent technology, the tail did not work best. Aligator also soon outgrown the old tail.

With the advancement of technology, then now prepared a new tail for alligator that works just as it should. Thanks to the tail, alligator is now free to swim in the water, and his life is again normal.

Thanks a lot to good people for such a wonderful act!
