Bald Eagle Shelters Eggs During Big Bear Snowstorm

A bald eagle is an eagle, recognizable by its distinctive white head and white tail, and can weigh up to six and a half kilograms (14 pounds).

The wingspan of the bird can extend up to two and a half meters (8,2 feet), and the bald eagle is considered a symbol of strength.

The Friends of the Big Bear Valley nonprofit organization filmed a special scene during a snowstorm two years ago. The bald eagle female was on the hunt for food, and the male had to take care for eggs during the Big Bear snowstorm.

During a severe snowstorm, the male eagle kept warming the eggs, and did not stop even when he was buried in the snow to his head.

The video is just another demonstration of wildlife in the nature, and the action of the bald eagle has impressed many animal lovers around the world. See how the bald eagle protected the eggs during the snowstorm!
