BBC Reporter Falls Into Pool While Interviewing English Swiming Team

Presenter Mike Bushell caused quite a splash when he fell into a swimming pool during a live interview on BBC Breakfast. Mike Bushell gave early risers a laugh this morning when he fell into a swimming pool while trying to interview some of the English swimming team at the Commonwealth Games, which are taking place on Australia's Gold Coast.

As he got into the shallow water for a chat Bushell said: "I'm going to be careful because I've got a sound pack on."

However, a couple of seconds later, having failed to spot another step beneath his feet, Bushell slipped into the deeper water with a splash, but he was not injured.
