Bodycam Shows Mesa Officers Rescuing Man Pinned Under Car
A video of a police officer coming to the aid of a man who remained trapped under a vehicle in the company of a co-worker comes from the town of Mesa in the US state of Arizona.
The entire campaign was filmed by a camera mounted on the body of a police officer, and the video has already reached more than 1.4 million views on the YouTube network to date.
Devon Haycook was repairing his wife's car when one of the jack collapsed, sending the car body into his chest. The vehicle fell on Devon and trapped him, and his wife called police for help. Officers Nolan Martineau and Josh Gardner arrived at the scene just three minutes after and acted quickly.
The trapped man was rescued from under the car by police officer lifting the vehicle with their hands and then someone pulled Devon free.
Fortunately, he did not suffer any serious injuries at the time of the incident, only a few scratches and abrasions. Thanks to the two police officers, who acted quickly and thoughtfully.
