Bombardier Beetle Squirts Boiling Chemicals To Escape Death While Frog Eats It

In February, National Geographic published a video on the web that showed the specialty of a bug that world know under the name "Bombardier beetle".

Their specialty is in the defense mechanism, triggered every time they feel threatened. A hot toxic chemical is thrown from the tip of the abdomen with a popping sound, which causes many animals to vomit.

The defense mechanism of these bugs was presented by National Geographic with a special video, in which the frog first swallowed such a bug infront of the cameras.

If many people thought that this bug's life had ended, it really was not the case. Inside the frog it released a toxic chemical, which caused the frog to throw out its meal.

The bug had survived the whole occasion, even if it was inside the frog just seconds before. Take a look at what defense mechanisms these bugs have, which we can find all around the world, including in our country.
