Cat Jumps From NYC Apartment On Fire
A fire broke out in a residential building in the Harlem neighborhood of New York last October.
A cat was caught in one of the burning apartments and took refuge on a windowsill during the fire.
Police, firefighters and many observers kept encouraging the cat to jump to the ground. If the cat would not gather enough courage to jump, a tragic fate would await it.
Once the fire had reached the window, the cat had no choice but to make the jump. It jumped off the windowsill, and due to the heat and fiery teeth, smoke was already seen at the cat.
Police caught the cat, but then it ran away. Despite its escape, the cat was caught by one of the observers, and the poor animal was examined by paramedics. It's still unknown who the cat owner is.
