Cave-Digging Artist Turns Sandstone Hills Into Art Inside The Cave
Ra Paulette is an American sculptor who comes from the US state of New Mexico. For the past 25 years, he has spent most of his time in one of the caves he created with his patience and precision.
The sandstone was carved so that real breathtaking works of art were created inside the caves.
Ra Paulette first dug holes in the sandstone that covers the deserts in New Mexico, and then worked on the walls in the cave. Beautiful works of art were created, and their image soon rounded the world and impressed many lovers of art and sculpture.
Through his work, he wants to show people how important it is to do what you really want in life and at the same time enjoy it. Ra says the biggest reward for his work is the response from people who see the artwork live.
For many years, the artist did not want the media to reveal his identity, but in the end he only agreed to make a documentary called Cave Digger, which even received an Oscar nomination.
