Coast Guard Opens Fire On Shark While Crew Swims In Sea

Members of the U.S. Coast Guard took the opportunity to jump into the sea from the USCGC Kimball, but their plans were thwarted by a marine predator.

Just then, a shark swam past, and the crew rescued their colleagues with weapon.

A shark joined the afternoon water party of the Coast Guard crew in the Pacific Ocean. The crew spotted the animal on board the ship and warned all colleagues of the danger, then started shooting at the shark.

The shots distracted the animal effectively enough that everyone in the water could escape. The Coast Guard also wrote that they had never encountered a shark before while swimming in the water.
