Cyclist Max Schachmann Taken Out By Car In Il Lombardia
A one-day cycling race through Lombardy took place on Saturday, and the German cyclist experienced a real horror.
The Italian female driver drove the vehicle to the official route of the race, which she did not even know about.
German cyclist Max Schachmann spotted the vehicle in front of him in one of the turns, and soon experienced a shock. The driver blocked his way and caused a serious accident. The driver told the media she knew nothing about the bike race.
The German picked himself up after the accident and sat on the bike again, finishing the race in an excellent seventh place. A subsequent check-up at the hospital revealed that he had broken his collarbone in the accident.
