Dad And His 10-Year-Old Daughter Rescued By Kite Surfer Off Greek Coast
A dramatic video has recently gone viral, showing a breathtaking rescue off the Greek coast.
Sailing athletes Anastassis Garipis and Iset Segura were the first to respond when strong currents and heavy winds swept a Hungarian father and his 10-year-old daughter into the open sea.
The father of the hero uploaded the rescue video to Facebook, capturing the emotional moment that unfolded near the municipality of Thermaikos, south of Epanomi in northern Greece. Without the quick action of the kite surfer, the incident could have ended in tragedy.

The footage shows the sportsman paddling out to reach the struggling father and daughter, who were drifting helplessly in rough waters. Once he reached them, he handed over his board, allowing them to cling to it until additional help arrived.
After a distress call, the coast guard activated a nearby local hunting team with a boat, which brought the father and daughter aboard. Shortly afterward, coast guard officers, paramedics, and police arrived on the scene to continue the rescue operation.
