Diver Helps Small Octopus Out Of A Plastic Cup, Gives Her New Home

These days, a special video clip was uploaded on the web, in which the divers saved the life of a small octopus.

Pall Sigurdsson was diving together with his friends in Lembeh, Indonesia, when he found a small octopus hidden in a plastic cup on the seabed.

The coconut octopus, also known as veined octopus, is born with the instinct to protect itself by creating a mobile home out of coconut or clam shells. A small octopus in the video chose a plastic cup due to pollution, which in fact did not provide much protection.

That's why the divers used all the oxygen to collect various clam shells for the octopus, which would offer better protection for that smart animal.

At first, a small octopus was picky, and then it took one of the shells, moved from the cup, and withdrew to the safe before the diver. Take a look at how the whole venture Pall Sigurdsson captured on the camera!
