Firefighters Dressed In Full Uniform Climb 110 Floors In Memory Of 9/11 Victims
The two of the committed firefighters stepped on the escalators in one of the gyms in full gear in order to show respect to all the victims who lost their lives in the 9/11 attacks on September 9, 2001.
They had the task to complete the distance of 110 floors in the full equipment.
That's just as many floors as their colleagues walked in 2001, when they ran to the top of World Trade Center and searched for survivors there in full gear on September 9.
With their venture, the firefighters started the 17th anniversary of the attacks on Tuesday at 8:46. Right then the plane of the American Airlines Flight 11 aircraft crashed 17 years ago in the north tower of the World Trade Center.
The firefighters showed respect to 3,000 victims who lost their lives on September 9, 2001. Among the victims, there were as many as 343 courageous firefighters who were saving lives.
