Former Ballerina Who Suffers From Alzheimer's Remembers Swan Lake Song

Music is a miracle cure, which is also confirmed by many experts around the world.

A few days ago, a really moving video of a grandmother suffering from Alzheimer's disease circulated the web. She spent her youth as a professional ballerina.

Due to Alzheimer's disease, grandmother Marta C. González has a more severe form of dementia in the video, which makes her remember almost nothing. But when she was blessed a few months ago with ballet music from Swan Lake, her memories returned, at least for a short time.

Marta was taken back into her youth while listening to the melody, and started dancing with her hands in front of the camera. Just like she once danced ballet in the 1960s.

Another proof of the extraordinary power of music. The video landed online a few days ago and went viral, but the moving scene with Marta was already filmed in Valencia in 2019. Marta C. González died the same year.
