While driving, he heard some scratching on the car's roof, causing him to stop the vehicle and investigate where the problem was.
He soon noticed that a bird was trapped between the roof and the roof rack. It was completely frozen as temperatures dropped to freezing that day. He acted quickly and also recorded the bird's rescue on camera.
He first rescued the bird out of the roof rack, then carried it to the car and warmed it there. He wrapped it in a sweater, and the bird soon recovered. When the time was right, the driver released it back to the freedom.
