Doctor's approached Chris shortly after he was admitted to the hospital and broke the hard news: he was paralyzed from the chest down.
It was highly unlikely that he would ever be able to walk, move his arms or participate in sports again. Even with the doctor's poor prognosis, Chris was determined to get back on his feet!
