Helicopters Drop Food For Starving Koalas And Kangaroos After Australian Bushfires

The Australian Government has made the decision that injured and starving animals need instant help because of past bushfires.

Planes flew over the areas previously covered by the fire, throwing carrots and potatoes from the air to feed hungry koalas, wallabies, kangaroos and other wildlife.

The government launched a special mission Operation Rock Wallaby in New South Wales, where thousands of pounds of carrots and potatoes were dropped from helicopters over burned areas.

This is how they came to the rescue of surviving animals which no longer have food due to the fires in the areas.

In total, several tons of carrots and potatoes were thrown from the air, and the environment minister said that kangaroos usually survive fires but later die from food and drinking shortages. Take a look at how good people help poor animals in Australia!
