Huge Airbus A400M Atlas Makes Spectacular Beach Landing

The web has been circled these days with a video of a military Airbus A400M transport aircraft landing in the middle of the desert.

The plane flew in from RAF military base Brize Norton and landed in the Pembrey Sands.

The Airbus A400M Atlas is a four-engine military tactical transport aircraft. The project began as a Future International Military Airlifter in 1982, in collaboration with Aerospatiale, British Aerospace, Lockheed and MBB. The reason for cooperation is to develop an aircraft that would replace the C-130 Hercules and C-160 Transall aircraft.

In the video that has been circulating on the Internet these days, we can follow the landing of the mentioned military plane in the middle of the desert, in order to train the crew to land on natural surfaces in the event of interventions. The pilot of the plane first touched the ground with plane's wheels and then took off again.

On his return, the 76-tonne plane finally landed, and the pilot impressed many online with his feat. Watch an Airbus A400M military plane land in the middle of the desert.
