A video of an avalanche on the eighth highest mountain in the world, Manaslu, has gone viral online.

Manaslu is the eighth highest mountain in the world, located in the Himalayas of Nepal. The term Manaslu is derived from the Sanskrit word "manasa" which means mountain of spirit. The summit was first conquered on May 9, 1956 by members of the Japanese expedition, Toshio Imanishi and Gyalzen Norbu.
Nepali mountaineer Tashi Lhakpa Sherpa, who led 100 climbers to the top of Mount Manaslu, recorded on his mobile phone the moment an avalanche was triggered from the 26,781 ft (8,163 m) high peak in the Himalayas in the past few days.
