Mom Holds 12 Ounce Baby Girl For 1st Time And Brings Everyone In Room To Tears
When Angela and Michael Bakker found out they were expecting a baby girl, they were totally enthusiastic. They were happy at the very thought that they would raise a girl together - they have always dreamed about such family.
But their dreams came to a screeching halt when Angela gave birth to little Naomi Joy 15 weeks early. The survival chances were almost zero.
Naomi Joy was born after just 25 weeks of pregnancy, and doctors in the hospital did everything to keep her alive.
For over two weeks, 12 ounce Naomi Joy survived in an incubator where her parents could only touch her with a special glove.
But because they are aware at the intensive care that the mother's touch is very important in the development of a baby, they decided to allow parents to hug their daughter after two weeks. Eight nurses moved the girl out of the incubator into her mother's arms, and the scene touched many.
Response on the face of Angela has told everything, and she described that moment as one of the most beautiful things she had ever experienced in her life. Thanks to careful nurses, Naomi Joy survived, and today she is a very healthy little girl!
