Moment Massive Glacier Collapses In Iceland Sends Tourists Fleeing In Panic

These days, the web encircled a video clip from Iceland, in which a spectacular view of nature can be observed. At Lake Jokulsarlon in Iceland, tourists captured the moment when a part of the glacier named Breiðamerkurjökull collapsed.

The big part of glacier dropped into the lake, and the panic hit the tourists quickly.

A scene can be seen in the video when a big piece of ice is torn off the glacier, and when it fell into the water, tall waves were formed. Due to tall waves, many tourists began to run away from the coast.

The author of the clip also said: "This area is only accessible with mountain guides and everybody shown in the video had been previously instructed to immediately leave the beach if a calving occurs. Due to the sheer size and proximity it was a bit of a close call but everybody was safe and stayed dry."
