Motorcyclist Doing 299 Kph On German Autobahn, Gets Overtaken
More than 80 years ago was the day when the first section of the fast two-lane motorway Autobahn was opened in Germany, on which there is no speed limit. Drivers can drive there as fast as they like. But if you cause a traffic accident there and you are found guilty, you pay for the whole rescue, and in the end you even have to pay enormous fine.
Although there is no speed limit there, the famous Autobahn is a section with the least accidents on all German highways. Only 11 percent of accidents on all German highways happen at Autobahn.
These days a video clip from years ago again gone viral, showing that at 299 kph (189 mph), you are by no means the fastest driver on Autobahn. The motorist reached the aforementioned speed on that highway, and then the driver of another vehicle passed by.
