Ohio Cops Were Chasing A Suspect, Then He Shots At Their Car Up Close
The Solon Police Department announced Monday that the officers involved in a fatal shooting in March have been cleared.
It happened on March 17 on Bainbridge Road in Solon when Officers Steven Davis and Nicholas Kline attempted to stop a vehicle fleeing a routine traffic stop. It was driven by Kevin Bailey, 22, of Sylvania Township.
Police said the officers came under fire before they could exit their vehicle. They said Bailey shot through both police cars and hit Davis in the arm and vest. Bailey was shot and died of four gunshot wounds to the head, torso and extremities.
