Polish Firefighters Come To Help Sweden From The Wildfires

The European Commission is coordinating further EU member-states' assistance to help Sweden battle vast forest fires across the country, the Commission said in a press release.

Sweden has been plagued with massive forrest fires this summer and polish firefighters arrives in Sweden to help them out. The hot and dry weather, as well as poor rainfall in Sweden, have resulted in extensive forest fires across the country, which broke out earlier in July.

44 Polish vehicles with heroes were on their way to save Sweden from the wildfires. This is when they have just disembarked the ferry in Trelleborg. Still quite a long way to travel though!


When firefighters from Poland came in Sweden, local firedepartment greeted them while they were traveling north in convoy.
