Prince Harry Had One Request For Sir Elton John That Was Kept Under Wraps

The royal wedding between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle definitely turned heads, from her stunningly simple, classic gown to the borrowed tiara from the queen. There were several surprises throughout the ceremony, from Meghan being escorted to the wedding by her mom to the guest list full of celebrities.

Needless to say, the 600 guests at the reception held at St. George's Hall in Windsor Castle after the ceremony were thrilled and stunned when a certain special megastar stood up, approached the podium and slid in behind the piano. It was none other than Sir Elton John.

A longtime close friend of the family, the legendary musician and singer had also been a part of another royal family event, albeit in a much different and heartbreaking setting.

Years ago, Sir Elton John sang "Candle in the Wind" at Princess Diana's funeral. But this time he was asked personally by Prince Harry to perform at a much happier event - his and Meghan's wedding reception.

During the reception, Prince Harry gave a rousing speech, then at the end, he made one simple request. According to Daily Mail, he asked: "Does anyone here know how to play the piano?"

After a brief pause, Sir Elton John stood up from among the guests and approached the piano. Everyone was excited and surprised that the incredible musician would be tickling the ivories and treating them to a few amazing songs.
