He disappeared from the house, but instead of running away, he quickly changed his decision.
When he realized that he had made a big mistake, he wanted to go back to the house. First, he scratched on the door, then used his nose a few times to "ring" a bell, which creates a sound of knocking.
Luckily, the whole scene was captured by a surveillance camera, and some of the puppy owners opened the door to the small Marshall and let him back into the house.
