Red Deer Gets Trapped In Frozen River In Siberia, Good People Rescue It

On the web, a video landed in which the deer was saved from the frozen river in Siberia after local hunters spotted a creature struggling in ice cold water.

In the video we can see a red deer stuck in the frozen river Barguzin near Ulan-Ude in eastern Siberia, Russia.

Four people had to join forces to cut a path out for the deer and pull him out of the river in an effort that took more than four hours. When the deer was pulled out of the water, he was completely subcooled, so they quickly began to heat him up. First, his fur was rubbed, and then they warmed him by a fire.

Because the fire did not help him, they drove the deer into a warm garage where they fed him with grease and some vodka to warm him from the inside.

Finally after recovering enough to move freely, the locals released the deer, which ran back into the forest. For their action, this mighty animal will certainly be grateful!
