Residential Building On Fire In Milan, Italy

A real drama was unfolding in Milan, Italy yesterday, when a large-scale fire broke out in a 15-storey high-rise in the middle of the city.

Many firefighters rushed to the scene, and the residental building will most likely even have to be demolished.

On Antonini Street in the south of Milan, a fire broke out on the top floor of a 15-storey skyscraper yesterday at 5.30 pm, and dozens of fire truck rushed to the scene, along with six ambulances. According to the latest information, the firefighters, who arrived at the scene first, managed to save all the residents from the skyscraper building with quick intervention.

Local media report that the fire broke out in a 60-meter-high apartment building called Torre dei Moro - fire teeth covered the entire outer wall after only a few minutes. About 70 families were successfully evacuated from the building by firefighters.
