23-year-old Will Field was the first to spot the unfortunate 19-year-old. She was buried in the snow with her head forward, and only her legs could be seen. Will acted quickly and took the shovel into his hands, then started to rescue the skier.
Time was not on his side and luckly another skier came to the rescue. The 19-year-old skier was successfully pulled out of the snow, and the video is just another testament to how dangerous unsecured ski trails are.
