Tenerife Hit By A Massive Storm, Giant Waves Destroyed The Balconies
The Canary Islands has been affected by a severe storm these days. The worst was in Tenerife, where 39 people were evacuated on two different locations due to the rough sea.
A video was uploaded on the web in which the apartment block can be seen in the coastal town of Mesa del Mar, where the high waves completely destroyed the lower balconies.
The authorities restricted access to 67 apartments in the city, and evacuated 24 people from Garachico, as some apartments were flooded and the elevator was broken due to water.
There are no reports about injured on the Canary Islands, but the rescuers are prepared for interventions.
