One of the sharks then rushed towards her and bit her on the right side of her torso. Fortunately, she took it away with only a 15 cm long wound, which was not deep.
The attack of this type of shark is also a surprise, as it only feeds on molluscs and crustaceans. If the shark otherwise felt threatened, it could have inflicted fatal wounds to the 30-year-old diver.
