In the town of Asiago in the province of Vicenza, on April 24, 2020, residents filmed robbers ripping an ATM out of the wall, but their plans were crossed by carabiners.
The perpetrators stole a tow truck in the city, drove to a nearby ATM and kicked it out of the wall after a few minutes. When the ATM was loaded onto a truck, police officers came to the scene of the incident.
With the arrival of the Italian carabiners, the group escaped into a parked car and then fled the scene. A police chase followed, and the offenders were reportedly soon arrested.
Their theft was captured on camera by one of Asiago's residents and posted online and forwarded to the local police. Look how cheeky the robbers from Italy were!
