Touching Short Film "But You Didn't" Will Bring Tears On Your Face

John Wikstrom has posted a video on the internet these days, which he made with his friends based on a real story.

The video is based on a poem written by a widow Merrill Glass for her late husband.

When her daughter was organizing her remains, she found a piece of paper on which a beautiful and moving poem was written. Merrill Glass addressed it to her late husband with the words "But You Didn't".

Based on the touching poem, John made a wonderful video in which he presented the story of a husband and wife. A wife was really happy and glad over her husband's actions, but he soon had to go to the army. He never returned from there.

This was the original poem by Merrill Glass:

Remember the time you lent me your car and I dented it?
I thought you'd kill me...
But you didn't.

Remember the time I forgot to tell you the dance was
formal, and you came in jeans?
I thought you'd hate me...
But you didn't.

Remember the times I'd flirt with
other boys just to make you jealous, and
you were?
I thought you'd drop me...
But you didn't.

There were plenty of things you did to put up with me,
to keep me happy, to love me, and there are
so many things I wanted to tell
you when you returned from
Vietnam...
But you didn't.
