Veteran in video clip suffered the heart attack in September, so he wans't able to take care of his two dogs. They were taken to an animal shelter where they were supposed to be held fot their owner, but instead they were placed for adoption. He was determined to get his dogs back so he saved enough money to cover the adoption costs for his dogs. When he came back to the shelter, an employee told him they would not accept his money. He didn't know what to do, but later staff explained to him all adoption costs were covered by them and they gave him gift cards and pet care supplies for his dogs Bailey and Blaze.
