Bugatti Tourbillon: 1,800 HP Hypercar Conquers the Arctic
The Bugatti Tourbillon has completed four weeks of brutal winter testing in Arjeplog, Sweden, proving that its 1,800 HP powertrain remains surgical even at -25°C (-13°F).
Chief Development Driver Miroslav Zrnčević pushed the hypercar to its limits on frozen surfaces to refine the balance between the V16 engine and its three electric motors.
These tests are vital for battery thermal management and chassis calibration in sub-zero conditions where traction is near zero. Very few vehicles engineered for speeds above 400 kph (248 mph) can maintain such composure on ice. Bugatti's winter odyssey confirms that true luxury is performance that remains accessible even in the world's harshest environments.
