Wildebeest stuck in mud rescued by safari guides

A dramatic video from South Africa shows safari guides rescuing a wildebeest that became trapped in thick mud by its horns. The footage captures the tense moment when the animal was freed after being completely stuck and unable to escape on its own.

The video was filmed in Limpopo when safari guide Lourens de Lange came across a stranded golden wildebeest during his routine patrol.

His colleagues Gilbert and Petrus quickly joined the rescue effort, digging the mud around the animal's head until it could finally pull free. The remarkable footage has since gone viral on YouTube, where it has already been viewed more than 1.5 million times.
