World's Tallest Bridge In China Completes Load Test

In China's mountainous Guizhou province, construction of the more than 1.4-kilometer-long (0.9 miles) Huajiang Bridge, which spans the great canyon, is nearing completion. Recently, 96 trucks drove onto the bridge, while sensors monitored the structure's movements and vibrations. At its highest point, the bridge stands about 625 meters above the Beipan River bed.
