To many kittens, birds represent prey and a delicious meal, but sometimes a wonderful friendship breaks out between different species of animals.

This is evidenced by a video from three years ago, in which the author captured a very adorable scene on camera.

The owner filmed his cat as she watched the bird sitting on the glass from close range. Shortly after, the cat impressed many animal lovers online with her move.

She carefully cupped her paw against the bird, then began to gently pet it. To date, the video has garnered over 800,000 views on the YouTube network alone.
