Michael Jordan In Tears At Public Memorial For Kobe And Gigi Bryant

Last night at the Staples Center, they said their last goodbyes to basketball legend Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna, who died in a helicopter crash with seven other passengers.

Michael Jordan said during the speech that Kobe Bryant was as his younger brother, and at the emotional moments he cried.

The wife of the late basketball player Vanessa Bryant also came in front of the microphone, unable to cope with the tragedy.

"Thank you so much for all your prayers. I’d like to talk about both Kobe and Gigi. I’ll talk about my baby girl first. My baby girl. Gianna Bryant is an amazingly sweet and gentle soul. She was always thoughtful. She always kissed me good night and kissed me good morning," she said of her late daughter, when tears poured down her face. In a speech, she said she did not look at her husband as a celebrity, but as her best friend.

Michael Jordan repeatedly emphasized in his speech that he was like a brother to a late basketball legend, always doing his best for him. "Now it's time for us to continue your legacy," said Michael Jordan.
