Quadruple Waterspout On Thai Island

The web is once again surrounded by a video captured on the Thai island less than two years ago.

There, tourists filmed an unusual scene in which as many as four waterspouts formed above the water surface.

A remarkable scene with a very rare occurrence has enthralled tourists on the Thai island of Koh Lipe in southern Thailand. As dark clouds approached the island, four waterspouts formed beneath them.

The waterspout is one of the forms of a tornado that forms from an ordinary storm cloud. In doing so, cold air descends to the warm sea surface, and in most cases these are much weaker vortices than those that occur on land.
