Woman Caught In The Act Of Dumping 4 Of Her Own Dogs Gets What She Deserves
While pets are part of the family for most of us, there are some people out there who couldn't care less about their furry friend's wellbeing. Sadly, these people frequently turn their dogs over to the pound - or worse, dump them in the wilderness. This type of nightmare scenario is what one kind stranger stumbled into as she was getting ready for work in the morning.
Instead of turning her head and looking the other way, the woman threw on her shoes and ran over to the car with her cell phone camera recording. She screamed, "I'm tired of people dropping off abandoned dogs. I fostered for Animal Care Services and I'm the one that has to take time away from my children to help people who don't want to be responsible for their pets." Unfortunately, this didn't dissuade the woman.
Shortly after the woman's tape went viral, the ex-owner turned herself in. According to Texas law, a person convicted of animal abandonment can be sentenced up to a year in a county jail and face a fine up to $4,000. Now her dogs are up for adoption - but only for families who know how to care for animals. If you are in the San Antonio, Texas area and are looking for a devoted furry family member, please take a peek at the City of San Antonio Animal Care Services Facebook page.
