Dutch firefighters respond to a dramatic bus fire

Dutch firefighters have released dramatic footage of a bus fire that started with smoke from the dashboard and turned into a fully developed blaze within minutes. The quick reaction of the driver and the intervention of Brandweer Lunteren prevented even more serious consequences.

The driver noticed smoke during his route, pulled over immediately and called emergency services. Within minutes, the bus was completely engulfed in flames. Fire crews confirmed a major fire on arrival and requested additional water supply. They used both low and high pressure lines as well as foam to bring the fire under control. Despite the rapid response, the bus was heavily damaged.
