Boy In Stands Hears National Anthem, Then He Bursts Into Song Stealing The Show
Officer Kim Tavares from Boston, Massachusetts, was slated to sing the national anthem before the Aug. 16 preseason football game between the Patriots and the Eagles.
There were a handful of other police officers in the stadium watching the game as fans.
One married couple who both are officers took their three-year-old son Garrett to watch the game and listen to Officer Tavares sing.
No one knew that little Garrett was just as interested in the officer singing as he was the football players on the sidelines preparing to play.
Standing strong and proud with his hand placed over his heart, dressed in his little Patriots jersey, Garrett belted out the lyrics to the national anthem along with Officer Tavares, making everyone around him pretty proud of the little guy.
