Bugs And Worms Crawl Out Of Strawberries If You Soak Them In Salt Water

The web was surrounded by a series of videos in which the authors were horrified to learn what was really in the ripe berries.

If we soak them in salt water, small worms will soon crawl out of the strawberries.

Small white worms are fruit flies called Spotted Wind Drosophila - females lay eggs inside the fruit, and the worms then feed on the juice. Such worms are found in strawberries, blueberries and raspberries.

Even during harvesting and picking fresh fruit, worms hide well inside strawberries and other fruits, but health organizations say they are not harmful to health. However, they are undoubtedly harmful to our psyche - no one wants to eat worms!

See what creeps out of delicious strawberries if they're soaked in salt water. Bon Appetit!
