Italian Firefighters Rescue Dog, Trapped In 80 Feet Deep Pit

Italian firefighters rushed to the rescue of a dog stuck at the bottom of a 80 feet deep forest pit in the town of Creazzo. Tobby, a setter, was out for a walk with his owner in the woods near the northeastern city of Vicenza when he suddenly slipped into the abyss.

Two firefighters were lowered down to the pit to rescue the scared animal. The two-hour rescue operation had a happy ending with Tobby being pulled up unharmed and quickly recovering from the ordeal.
